The family restaurant Terra Gastronomy is located in the Gunavarman area, it is not difficult to find it. Also, with plenty of space and parking, Samsara stands out in shades of red and white in front of H Gourmet.
When you enter a very spacious restaurant, the atmosphere immediately spoils the eyes of visitors. Indonesian cuisine Samsara is decorated in elegant and luxurious interiors, one of the rooms is dominated by red. The large painting, owned by Ida Bagus Indra, immediately became the center of attention in the area.
The other area looks cozy with soft armchairs and a large sofa behind a large glass that overlooks Gunavarman Street, which never rests. Though it looks luxurious and elegant, Samsara is a wonderful restaurant. Visitors can still enjoy their food without worrying about clothes.
Samsara Indonesian Cuisine offers a variety of Indonesian dishes that are as close as possible to the desired option, which adds to the beauty of its appearance. Here are some of the menus I tried in Samsara:
Deluxe Lychee (Rs 50,000)
One of Samsara's soft drinks, this non-alcoholic cocktail is made with lychee mixed with pineapple jam. Unique and refreshing!
Transport herbal mixture (Rs 35 000)
Jammu is one of the Indonesian culinary heritage to be preserved. Samsara can showcase this blend of sour turmeric, ginger, crab rice and honey in an attractive way. It is also delicious and fresh.
free coconuts
Fufu Skipjack Lemper (Rs 55 000)
The size of this lime bar is actually much larger than lime bar in general and it is made from yellow rice. Fill the tuna generously with strong spices. In addition, you can taste lembar with delicious sambal and a piece of salted fish wrapped in caramel.
Laksa Bogor (75,000 rupees).
One of the most memorable dishes of Samsara.
This laksa contains large prawns with chopped quail eggs, as well as noodles topped with a light curry sauce. When I tried it, I was completely addicted. The chef managed to create a balance of flavors for the laksa. Salty sauce with creamy coconut milk and moderate use of aromatic herbs and hot spices make Bogor Samsara Laksa the only dish to order in the congregation!
Marami Mango Salsa (Rs. 95,000)
Ubud Benjil Dak (Rs 95,000)
Rendang Sengkel and cattle brain (95,000 rupees)
These three main dishes come in one plate. Yes, the chef did a special tasting at the time, so the portion shown on my blog this time is much smaller than the portion shown. The garam mango samsara was fresh with a dash of sour and slightly spicy mango chutney and the mouth watering ubud was very tender with a crispy peel and flavor. Single rendang and beef brain are also delicious, rendang is not spicy so anyone can eat it, the juicy texture of rendang and a little fat make rendang samsara delicious and hard to resist. Of course, my favorite is the Bebek Bengil Ubud with the sambal matah combination. :)
Samsara Rujak Fruit and Kedondong Sorbet (R 55 000)
Samsara did not stop in front of the main course, but did not enchant us with her beautiful dessert creations. Rojak bua is shaped like a triangular jelly and is eaten with kedondong-serbet mixed with a little chilli pepper. It tastes like sweet and sour tortillas with a refreshing hint of spice!
Milk tart with jasmine flower tea (65,000 rupees)
Already known in Bali, Chef Sambas Sanusi wrapped this milk cake in a jasmine tea filling for a completely different taste. Each is imprinted with the scent of jasmine tea. I like!
Heavenly pearl (80,000 rupees).
A wonderful interpretation of the Indonesian dessert Es Podeng by Chef Sambas!
As the hot caramel sauce flows in, you can see the filling of giant balls of several slices of white bread, pearls, toasted peanuts and avocado with vanilla ice cream on top. The taste is also very tasty, even tastier with caramel sauce and peanut puree, iridescent under the ball. Bravo, boss!
So, for you, dear readers , who really love Indonesian cuisine, I suggest you try Samsara. There are not many typical Indonesian restaurants in Jakarta that offer a varied menu with good taste and reasonable prices . Samsara became a beginner and immediately became one of my best recommendations when I lost my menu language which became her comfort food . Thank you Samsara for allowing my girlfriend to try your food. Keep up the good work and yes, I will be back to this restaurant soon. Vir yum laksa! !
